Adriana Nixon Forever 8 Endowed Scholarship

Scholarship Description

The Adriana Nixon Forever 8 Endowed Scholarship was created and established by the Nixon family and friends. This scholarship is a loving memorial to her life. All gifts and donations designated for this scholarship shall become a part of its corpus. 

Adriana Nixon was the youngest daughter of LeeAndrew and Andrea Nixon. The baby girl of the family was born February 28, 2013. Adriana passed away after a two year, seven month battle with a very rare childhood cancer at the age of eight. According to her parents, she inspired so many during her time on earth. Her smile and laugh would light up the room. Anything she put her mind to she excelled at. Adriana insisted on continuing school and playing softball, her favorite sport, throughout her battle with cancer. She was a master LEGO builder and very artistic. She wanted to help others like her and serve her community when she grew up. She became an honorary police officer for the Fort Worth Police Department in January 2020. During her battle with cancer, she delivered AdrianaStrong Surprise! packs to children who were also fighting. 

The Adriana Nixon Forever 8 endowed scholarship will continue to celebrate her life and continue to help others like she did in her short but meaningful life.
